One of your best! Every time I thought I was at the end of a logical path I found another “crumb” to go with. Fantastic (and good-looking) puzzle. Thanks.

For a little while I was considering making this one Thursday with two extra clues thrown in, but it sounds like from what you said that it was much better to not have done that.

How in the world do the two 1 ^ clues in the upper right manage to make those squares outside the loop?

Is that comment suggesting that you can’t see how the puzzle has a solution? Try having the two segments forced by those 1 clues not link up immediately and instead go in completely different directions.
