Country Road Description

Country Road is a puzzle originally from nikoli; their description is only in Japanese, so for external links you may have to settle for Wikipedia’s very brief article. The grid is separated into rooms by thick lines. The object is to draw a single closed loop in the grid passing through adjacent squares that enters each square at most once. The path may not return to any room it has already visited, and any two adjacent squares that the path does not go through must be in the same room. A number in a room indicates how many squares in that room the path goes through. The solution is unique.

Below is an example puzzle and its only solution.

Note: nikoli’s rules require every room to be visited exactly once. This rule does not apply to the puzzles posted here.
