Puzzle 391

The hardest puzzle I’ve posted in recent times. There are all kinds of rules about parity and topology to be discovered here.

That was a beautiful puzzle. I always like your loop puzzles, possibly because the delicate interplay between local vs global logic and also between careful deduction vs “gotta look sorta like this” are very satisfying. Tried it yesterday and didn’t get anywhere. Looked at it again this morning and almost immediately realized that there was an “extra square” in one quadrant and where it had to come from, and it was off to the races.

if you count the “not remembered” length and consider parity,
this is not so difficult puzzle I think…

But really beautiful and enjoyable one. Nice!
