    Do you feel like, intuitively, the notation is backwards here? The numbers without the circles are the ones that tell you about adjacent lightbulbs, which are represented by circles.

      I don’t. The numbers without circles look exactly like ordinary Akari clues and function exactly like ordinary Akari clues. I would think it not good to mess that up.
