This is a Wednesday Nurikabe puzzle.
This one requires some logic that is somewhat nonstandard for Nurikabe puzzles.

And no corner-to-corner contact between the islands! Who even knew that was possible?
I wouldn’t say that it uses nonstandard logic. All the deductions used are of a type which is usually used in nurikabe puzzles, just not over the whole grid. I would say it doesn’t use one of the common deductions.
